Hello, My name is Karl Langford and I am the Owner/Entertainer for Multiple Choice Disc Jockey.
I graduated from Grey Eagle, MN High School in 1987 and was a member of the United States Navy from 1987-1992. I married Amy Wielenberg of Grey Eagle in August of 1994 and we have 3 children. Chandler 15, Ian 10 and Miranda 7.
I have been a DJ for over 15 years and started Multiple Choice Disc Jockey in August of 2000. Since then, I have entertained at hundreds of events from Weddings, Bars, Private Parties and School/Teen dances. Over the last 6+ years, the focus for the company has been mostly towards Weddings but during the winter months, private parties are more popular.
As of 2011, as a business, I have entertained at 230 weddings. I have become a highly requested Entertainer in Central Minnesota and am highly recommended by The Alexandria Holiday Inn, The Broadway Ballroom of Alexandria and The Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood, MN.
At this time, entertaining is my full time profession. This allows more time to prepare for the weekend events and more time for meeting with couples to get their receptions planned the way they want.
In the past, I have worked with special needs preschoolers at the Long Prairie Head Start. Even though DJing is my profession, I currently am a substitute for the Long Prairie/Grey Eagle School district as a para-professional mainly working with special needs students.
I also spend my time hunting, fishing, shopping (yes, I like to shop), spending time with my family and I coached my oldest son's little leage team for 4 years and my other son's team for 1 year so far. I also like to help out in my children's classroom and volunteer for field trips to help supervise.
